We are happy to introduce "Online Beginners Course" for you. We have young Adults,
who for some reason or another are unable to do the Basic Course, inspite of wanting
to do so, thereby, depriving themselves and so many young children from joining
this great Worldwide Movement of the Bharat Scouts and Guides.
Therefore, this is an initiative taken to encourage, motivate and facilitate young
Adults to join the Movement and start and run their own Units after successfully
completing this online course.
Scouting and Guiding, as you know is a Movement to contribute to the development
of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, emotional, social
and spiritual aspects as individuals, and as responsible citizens. You, as an Adult
can contribute to this. In the words of our Founder, “you make a living by what
you get, but you make a life by what you give”. So, let us come together and do
our best to give and contribute to the growth of this Movement, in the simplest
way possible. We hope and pray that you come forward and join hands with us.

AIM AND OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE:
Scouting / Guiding is a claim of every youth. It is the duty of adults to facilitate
the romance of Scouting / Guiding for young people. In order to achieve the growth
of The Bharat Scouts and Guides, there is a need for more Unit Leaders. But the
Leaders are unable to run the units for the simple reason that they have not enough
time to undergo the Basic Course, thereby, thousands of young people are in a queue
to enjoy the Scouting / Guiding. This Online Course is a route map to help the adults
to start and run a unit, immediately after sucessfull completion of the Online Beginners
Course.
Scouting / Guiding is a noble organisation. God has selected you and give a chance
to you to serve the young people. Let us join hands together to convert our dreams
into reality.
Objective of the Course:
By the end of the course, participants will able to:
☸ understand the concept of Scouting / Guiding.
☸ recognize the need of Scouting / Guiding in present society.
☸ start and run a new unit.
☸ understand procedure to register a new unit with district association.
Who can attend this course:
Indian citizen who has completed 18 years of age or above are eligible.
GUIDELINES
This portal is created to provide knowledge of Scouting & Guiding not to evaluate
the capacity of any individual. We have made this portal such a way that anyone
can enjoy the essence of Scouting & Guiding virtually.
01. For Login, create Id and password.
02. Provide Name in Capital Letter and the same will appear in Your certificate.
03. OTP will be sent to your Email Id at the time of create/ forget /reset account.
04. Before starting the challenges, complete your profile.
05. Profile Picture and ID-Proof once uploaded cannot be changed.
06. Size of Profile Picture and ID-Proof not more than 500kb each.
07. Any time anyone can explore the Learning Content.
08. Learning content consist with eight subjects.
09. You can read all the learning contents at a time.
10. But once you start to attempt any of the challenges (Q & A), the entire challenges
must be completed within 15 days otherwise you have to start from the beginning.
11. Each subject having 10 multiple choice questions.
12. Any time you can explore the learning content by saving your answer but once
logout, all saved data will be deleted.
13. On successful completion of each subject with 100% marks, you will be eligible
to download Certificate after completing 3 mandatory steps by listening BSG Prayer,
Flag Song and taking of BSG Promise.
14. This certificate is valid only with a Govt. issued Photo Identity Card.
15. After received your certificate contact with your District Headquarters, where
group registration form and warrant will be available Rs. 100 /- to be given to
District Headquarters for record in DHQ.
